Unlike other dog walking businesses, Fitzroy Dog Adventures takes a maximum of 6 dogs per dog walker. This means extra attention, supervision and safety for the doggies.
We check and trial all locations before we take dogs, and carry directions to the closest vet.
We do our upmost to keep friends together and don’t take incompatible dogs together on trips. This means more friends, familiarity and fun.
In warmer months, we steer clear of “snakey” locations.
Different dogs can tolerate different temperatures. To ensure the safety of all of our dogs, we have developed a heat-stroke risk assessment framework through consultation with vets. This framework provides an educated estimate on what temperatures are too hot for your particular dog, to minimize the chances of them over-heating. We also always have water available while exploring.
